A significant new artwork by First Nations artist Lisa Waup now transforms the hoarding surrounding University Square, marking the beginning of a multi-stage public artwork that will unfold across the site over the coming years.

Artist Lisa Waup created this new work for West Gate Freeway. Titled pathed between, it speaks to the interconnecting roads that carry us through life.

Created from interlocking panels and laser-cut in multiple layers to signify both a sense of landscape alongside family connections, this large-scale work sits within the heart of DLA’s new offices in Melbourne.

Introducing Continuum, a digital collaboration between mixed cultural First Peoples maker and artist Lisa Waup and Western Australian digital artist Sam Price.

This project presents the second collaboration between award-winning Gunditjmara and Torres Strait Islander artist Lisa Waup and Melbourne based fashion designer Ingrid Verner to create a collection of garments and accessories entitled JOURNEYS. This is the second collection for Waup and Verner who first debuted at Melbourne Fashion Week in 2017. At its core this new collection represent JOURNEYS through history, family and friendship and the connection to country, to past, present and future and the connections between us all.

Commissioned for Deloitte’s new offices in Melbourne, this work explored hidden meaning and connections between family and community.
